Carol Kholeka Zama is a seasoned South African Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, and corporate governance. She has held several high-profile roles across both public and private sectors, contributing significantly to various organizations. Ms. Zama also brings her extensive financial expertise to this role, having served at other global, listed and prominent Cape Town-based organizations, contributing to housing, tourism, trade, digital financial inclusion and investment initiatives in the Western Cape.
Ms. Zama began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003. She then held senior finance roles at Mondi South Africa, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, British American Tobacco South Africa, Wesgro, Digital Frontiers and The Inner-City Project NPC,
Ms. Zama holds a BCom Accounting degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed her BCompt Honours at the University of South Africa (UNISA)
